Getting rid of things, one step at the time

Do You have belongings that You don't need any longer? Or simply, that You don't use anymore?

I've been thinking about this idea of going into minimalism more and more, ever since I watched this documentary on Netflix about precisely, Minimalism.

And this concept isn't about living without nothing, and getting rid of everything you own just because it's bad or useless to own things, actually, It does have to do with living with what is needed, with those things that make You happy, but above all and most importantly, It's about You keeping the things that really serve a purpose.

And We all have things that have already served their purpose. Those old books you read about 3 years ago, inside the desk drawer or in the shelf, and that even when You still like them, You are not willing to read them again; Those old jeans, shoes, that are still in good condition; those things You hid in some drawer and You have having been just completely forgotten but that you kept "just in case"... It's very likely you are not going to need them any longer, and if that "need" eventually arise in the future, it's not precisely the justification for keeping all those things. Consider instead that they might be useful for somebody else and fulfill a new purpose.

So, among other things I've already done... I like to play guitar, I've always liked it, but I don't have time for this anymore, and haven't played it since almost 1 and a half years, so what's the point?. It's time to sell it along with the bass, and the bongos (haha).

New vocabulary:
- To arise / arose / arisen / arising
- To fulfill
- To hide / hid / hid(hidden) / hiding
